Where to Go

Porto and the Douro Valley

The Douro is one of the world's oldest demarcated wine regions and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stay at family-owned quintas, taste Port wine where it is made and cruise the river that once carried its barrels to Porto.

Lisbon, Sintra and Óbidos

Lisbon combines historic neighbourhoods, a thriving restaurant scene and a light photographers travel for. A short drive away, Sintra's palaces and the Moorish Castle sit in a forested landscape, while Óbidos is a walled medieval village made for slow afternoons.

Alentejo
